KEVA-project
Introduction:
KEVA-project focuses on the internationalization of vocational education and training. International partner organizations are located in Tansania, Zambia, Botswana, namibia and Nepal. The project is carried out by a network of 10 Finnish vocational institutions co-ordinated by Koulutuskeskus Agricola. The main objectives of the project are to increase students' and teachers' understanding of global development issues, to provide them opportunities to to work in multicultural environment, and to encourage them to participate in voluntary work. KEVA project aims also at creating sustainable and open partnership between the Finnish institutions and the organisations abroad.
Durign it's first operational year, KEVA-project has been seeking possible placements for Finnish students and teachers in co-operation with various development agencies and Finnish embassies and teachers have made preparatory visits to the project sights.
