5. Well-Being at School - a European Priority
Introduction:
Throughout Europe today a sense of well-being at school appears as a growing necessity to minimise differences between pupils and to contribute to both individual and collective success at school as well as aiding social integration. In this project the partner institutions aim to learn from each other by comparing both positive and successful experiences within each institution, with reference to sport, diet, citizenship, life-work balance, urban environment, integration of the socially disadvantaged and handicapped pupils. Pupils will undertake research and draw up strategies to enable young people to make the right choices for a better and healthier life. These strategies will make up the different points of a charter which will be presented during our Dunkirk 2010 European Youth Conference, climax of the project.
